“ I can't get over churros being a breakfast item in Spain. Our stay in Ronda has been fascinating. The sights and sounds are second to none. In Southern California and Northern Mexico (Tijuana) churros are dense and surrounded by cinnamon and sugar. However in Spain they are light and fluffy and traditionally served with chocolate. This is no ordinary chocolate beverage. It is a cocoa powder with cornstarch mixed with hot milk. This produces a thick pudding like consistency that is drinkable but more importantly dunkable. This local spot ( locals mostly ) is genuine and essential to the neighborhood. Don't waste your time on the touristy spots. If you make the effort to go out of your way by about 500 meters (1,500 ft) then you will find treasure that your taste buds have never experienced before. ”

“ We stumbled upon this churreria by chance while walking into the center of Ronda. We were craving churros, and there was a long line of local Spaniards waiting to get in, so we figured it must be good. It was the perfect choice. We tried the traditional churros and the potato churros – both were fried right before our eyes and then placed in a bag while still hot. Delicious! And the lady at the counter was very nice. It was very cheap for us (€1.20 each). The two of us barely finished the two portions of churros – so the portion was quite large. Thank you and we recommend it! ”

“ This is a great local place with fast service, great coffee and orange juice. Churros are delicious. The hot chocolate is well mixed in the machine and there are different flavors available. They also make potato churros which I will have next time. The only downside is that there are no tables outside. But the prices are very good. ”
